Account deletion is permanent. You will lose access to transfers, investments, statements, and support history tied to this account. If you have active investments or pending transfers, we may need to contact you before processing your request.

What we delete
When your request is approved and processed, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your BoraBond account, including:
- Profile information (name, email, phone number, and preferences)
- App activity and usage data linked to your account
- Linked payment and bank connection metadata stored by BoraBond
- Support communications tied to your account
This applies to data held by BoraBond. Banking or custody partners may retain records under their own legal obligations.
What we may retain
We may retain limited information when required for legal, regulatory, tax, anti-fraud, or dispute-resolution purposes, such as:
- Records required by SEC, FinCEN, or other regulators
- Transaction records needed for tax reporting or audits
- Information necessary to resolve an open investigation or legal claim
Retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for marketing.
How long it takes
Most requests are completed within 30 days after we confirm your identity.
Accounts with active investments, pending transfers, or linked bank accounts that require manual steps may take longer. We will email you if additional action is needed.
